Older, Wiser, Better…Greener!

While we take this site seriously for the sake of good information and as a customer resource, we also take occasion to step back and consider the “roots” of Ever-Green Turf and Landscape, and how our past confidently leads us into the future.

So it was this week when the company highlighted its annual organizational meeting by recognizing our veteran employees on the occasion of at 25 years of service to not only Ever-Green, but the lawn and landcaping community:  Patty Johnston…38 years as company book keeper and controller.  Michael Brubaker…25 years in landscape maintenance.  And Matt Kingrey, for 25 years in lawn and turf management and past Ohio Lawn Growers Applicator of The Year in 2010.  Each received a watch commemorating their years of service.

“It’s important to have people like these because they represent the kind of kind of commitment that makes Ever-Green a leader in our market,”  said Ever-Green president Joe Duncan.  “And that commitment to professionalism and service is passed right on to our customers as we expand and provide a more comprehensive selection of services.”

Ever-Green recently did expand its market commitment with the merger of Powell’s Proper Lawn Service and Anderson’s Tree Tech, adding additional experience to its roster of “green” professionals with Tim Anderson and Jerry Powell, both well-known and trusted figures in the Miami Valley market.

“I’m excited to be a part of this,”  said Anderson.  “To have this many resources and this much commitment to providing the best possible service to our customers.”

“It all started with people like these,”  reminds Duncan.  “People who’ve given so many years to the industry.  The people whose experience have won the trust of our customers and recognition within the lawn and landscaping community.  We’re not only a little older, but we’re wiser and better.”

And greener…always greener!
